We’ve Been Named One of the UK’s Best Sandwich Shops

We’ve been serving sandwiches on Jesmond Road for over 30 years, and we’re absolutely over the moon to share some good news. Dene’s Deli has been named one of the top ten sandwich shops in the UK (outside of London), according to a new ranking by Betway.

We’re proud to be the only spot in the North East to make the list. The top ten features some fantastic places across Edinburgh and Glasgow, so it’s an honour to be included. This recognition is based on our 4.8 out of 5 rating on Google and nearly 23,000 searches for us each year. It means a lot that so many of you continue to support what we do.

Our team has always focused on making proper sandwiches. Big portions, quality ingredients, fair prices, and plenty of choice. Whether you’re popping in for the first time or you’re a regular, we work hard to make sure everyone leaves happy.

Some of the recent reviews have genuinely made our day. One customer wrote, “Wow what a place, you have loads to choose from, product quality is amazing, portions are huge, and price is really reasonable… loved it.” Another simply said, “The sandwich was 10/10.”
